Analyze The Missing Emotion
Okay. Let's recap where we are so far.
You have a list of What statements and you have a list of Why statements.
All these statements relate to a desire you want to manifest into your life using the power of your thoughts ("The Law of Attraction").
Here's the lists of statements in relation to our example of manifesting a new car.

Now focus on the Why statements above and you'll notice something interesting.
If you look carefully, you'll notice that there seems to be a feeling - an emotion - behind each of those reasons.
Let's go through them one by one.
- Firstly, "Show off to my friends": The feeling behind that is I want to feel important.
- The second reason "Impress my boss and co workers": The feeling behind that is, hey, I want to feel important.
- The third reason "My partner will now think I'm successful": Again, it's a feeling of wanting to be important.
- And this idea of wanting to put pictures of it on Facebook: Once more, it's because there's a feeling of wanting to feel important.
In this simple example, you want this car because...
You want to feel important

That's the real reason you want the car.
When the car manifests, you believe it will make you feel important.
I call this feeling the Missing Emotion of the new car.
I call it 'missing' because if you already felt important enough in your life right now, you might not want the car at all. Or you might want it for different reasons than what you've come up with.
The feeling of importance is the Missing Emotion for the new car.
Obviously, this is a simplistic made-up example just to show you how this process works. If YOU wanted a new car, you might have completely different emotions behind wanting it.
Try It For Yourself
Now see if you can discover the Missing Emotion of your own desire.
In our simple example of the car, we only found one Missing Emotion.
When you try it for yourself, you may find you have a few of them. That's fine.
When I find myself with multiple missing emotions, I ask myself which of them seems the most important and I go with that.
Occasionally, I can't decide and I choose two or three of them.
There's no right or wrong. Don't overthink it. Just go with whatever immediately comes to mind.
